Our Rules

Thank you for using or considering to use FaithFundMe, as your crowdfunding platform partner of choice (and remember to tell-a-friend). There are  general rules every FaithFundMe project must follow.

Projects must be compelling.
FaithFundMe.com is a Christian crowd-funding alternative platform to sites such as GoFundMe, IndieGoGo and KickStarter.  FaithFundMe.com can be used to support projects in diverse categories including, but not limited to: evangelistic outreaches, missionary work, book writing,  audio/video production, church campaigns, special events and conferences, ministry needs, equipment, innovations (e.g. technology, artistry), family/community support (e.g. medical emergencies, disaster relief) and more!!!

Projects must be honest and clearly presented.  Our community is built on trust and communication. Projects can’t mislead people or misrepresent facts, and creators should be candid about what they plan to accomplish. When a project involves manufacturing and distributing something complex, like a gadget, we require projects to show a prototype of what they’re making, and we prohibit photorealistic renderings.

Projects can’t be explicit, offer financial incentives, or involve prohibited items.  Explicit, immoral or projects in poor taste, at the sole discretion of FaithFundMe, will not be approved or subject to termination. Projects can’t offer financial incentives like equity or repayment.

Your funding goal should be the minimum amount needed to complete the project and fulfill all rewards. Because funding is all-or-nothing, you can always raise more than your goal but never less.  FaithFundMe.com will apply a 10% fee to the funds raised, and Paypal will apply credit card processing fees (between 3%-5%).  To initiate a funding project on FaithFundMe, you must have a Verified Business PayPal account (to apply, please visit: www.PayPal.com).  Note: FaithFundMe.com chosen charity is: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Portion of proceeds (3%) from all funded Project Creators received by FaithFundme will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

FaithFundMe is not suitable for any crowdfunding transactions, or locations disallowed by PayPal, or other countries as determined by FaithFundMe at its sole discretion or ordered prohibited by the US Government. Prohibited countries including but not limited to: India, Taiwan, Singapore, North Korea, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Iran, Nigeria, Russia or any entities or countries determined by the US Government as being financial transaction prohibited.

Projects cannot exceed maximum amount.  The maximum FaithFundMe project goal threshold is up to $50,000. Creators can only initiate one project at a time, and no more than 4 projects in any 12-month period.

Backers are limited in individual contributions per project.  The maximum donation amount per contributor is up to $2000, and the same contributor can fund one singular project up to 4 times in a 12-month period.

Creator Verification tools for safety of the FaithFundMe community. All project creators must have a verified paypal or facebook account to participate in FaithFundMe, and provide personally identifiable information which FaithFundMe will exercise best efforts to verify. If any project creator is found to have committed any illegal act or act of moral turpitude, such project creator will be prohibited from using FaithFundMe and any projects initiated by such project creator will be terminated.

These rules don’t cover every possible use of FaithFundMe, but they explain our purpose and perspective. For additional information, please see our ‘Terms’ and ‘Privacy’ sections.
